Robert Anderson, Q.C. and Ludmila Herbst, Farris litigators whose practice includes property assessment matters, recently reviewed the BC Supreme Court’s decisions on several challenges to municipal tax rate bylaws, instigated by companies involved in the forest sector: the decisions can be found summarized in article printed in the January/February issue of “Communication” the magazine for the Canadian Property Tax Association and is reprinted on Page 3 here.

The Canadian Property Tax Association is a national organization which provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and information relating to both commercial and industrial property tax issues arising across Canada.
