Mark Chu Joins Farris’ Taxation and Wealth Management Group
VANCOUVER – It is with great pleasure that the Partners of Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP (Farris) announce that Mark Chu, one of British Columbia’s leading tax practitioners, is joining the firm’s taxation and wealth management group. Mark joins Sandy Sheinin, C.A., Brian Lougheed, C.A., and Ron Dueck who collectively will provide our clients with leading and independent tax advice.
Mark Chu brings to the firm twelve years of experience in all aspects of Canadian taxation, including initial public offerings, financings, mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and dispute resolution. Mark has worked in numerous industries that include retail, distribution and logistics, sports, hospitality and entertainment, international shipping, real estate, high technology, biotechnology, and alternative energy.
Farris’ Chair, Keith Mitchell, Q.C., said today, “We are extremely pleased to be welcoming someone of Mark’s calibre to the Farris partnership. He brings a unique skill set to the firm as he is both a lawyer and chartered accountant.
