Court Upholds Rights of Abbotsford Homeless

The decision has wide implications for municipalities seeking to regulate the use of public spaces. Alison Latimer acted for the Intervenor, the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association, which intervened in the case and argued that the Court should recognize that the impugned laws unjustifiably infringed on the liberty interests of Abbotsford’s Homeless.
