Brad Newby & Scott Dawson Speak at CCCA’s 2009 Fall Training Camp

Farris Partners Brad Newby & Scott Dawson presented at the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association’s Fall Training Camp for New In-house Counsel on November 9, 2009. The training camp, which was presented by Lex Mundi & its member firms, took place in Calgary at the Petroleum Club.

Scott Dawson spoke as a member of the panel on Approaches to Litigation Management, and Brad Newby presented as a member of the panel on Fundamental Drafting Issues for Corporate Counsel.

The CCCA’s Fall Training Camp was designed specifically to help new corporate counsel meet the specific challenges of in-house practice, and to serve as a refresher training course for more experienced members in several key areas, including Corporate Governance 101, Protecting Corporate Privilege, Fundamental Drafting Issues for Corporate Counsel, An Introduction to Regulatory Compliance and Investigations, and Approaches to Litigation Management.
