They bring tremendous experience and expertise to the firm and Sandy’s 27 years of experience as a leading tax advisor at Sheinin & Company, a very successful Vancouver-based tax boutique, will be very beneficial to our clients.” Alan Hamilton, Q.C., the firm’s Managing Partner, added, “Sandy and Brian will work closely with our lawyers and offer our clients innovative and value added tax approaches tailored to their needs, including tax strategies and structuring, corporate finance, financial analysis and modeling, CRA representation, and wealth management advice for individuals and owner entrepreneurs.” In joining Farris, Sandy Sheinin said, “I’m delighted to be joining Farris along with my colleague Brian Lougheed. Farris’ reputation as a high performance law firm, with quality lawyers and success at all levels, is compelling in itself. I’m excited with what’s ahead and what we can achieve together.” The move follows the merger between Farris and Kelowna based law firm Petraroia Langford LLP which has enabled Farris to expand its network into the province’s fastest growing region. “We’re expanding client services and we now have offices in Vancouver, Kelowna, and Victoria,” said Mitchell. According to Lexpert, Canada’s most respected legal publication, Farris has been ranked Vancouver’s leading corporate and litigation law firm for 6 years. Farris has a 105-year history and is continuing to build on its goal to be British Columbia’s pre-eminent law firm. Download the PDF file here.
