Herbert Dodd Recognized With Queen’S Counsel Appointment

VICTORIA Attorney General Wally Oppal today announced that 32 British Columbia lawyers have been appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.). Among them is Farris Partner, Herbert D. Dodd, Q.C. The Queen’s counsel designation is an honour conferred on members of the legal profession to recognize exceptional merit and contribution. The successful candidates demonstrate professional integrity and good character and must have been members of the British Columbia bar for at least five years. Dodd practises corporate, project finance, securities and banking law. He has been recognized by Lexpert magazine as being among the leading 500 lawyers in Canada, is ranked by Chambers Global and The Best Lawyers in Canada, and has achieved the highest ranking of AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
