From April 16 - 18, 2009 the American Bar Association (ABA), Section of Business Law, will hold its Spring Meeting at the all new Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre. Farris partner Hector MacKay-Dunn, Q.C. will be a guest speaker; his topic is titled Issues for Venture Capital and Private Equity Investors to Consider in M&A Exits of Minority Owned Portfolio Companies and he will be appearing on April 17 from 2:30 to 4:00 PM <more information>.
Farris partner Mitchell Gropper, Q.C. is on the planning committee while Al Hudec is chair of the events committee. Wilma Macfarlane, Farris’ Manager, Library Services, is coordinating this year’s Public Service Project. This year’s project is titled Bring-a-Book Project to Promote Children’s Literacy <more information>. About the ABA
