Brad Newby Moderates Expert Panel at Ccca World Summit

Today, in front of a capacity audience, Farris partner, Brad Newby, moderated an expert panel at the 2009 Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA) World Summit. The session was titled: Across Borders, Across Cultures: Challenges in International Business Negotiations. In this engaging and informative session, drawing mainly on examples from the Asia-Pacific region, delegates learned new tips to improve communication and minimize misunderstandings during the negotiation process, including advice when negotiating dual-language contracts, methods to expedite or delay negotiations and methods for disagreeing without sinking the deal.
