On May 5, 2003, the Canadian Securities Administrators will relaunch SEDI, which requires insiders to electronically file their insider reports, and issuers to electronically file certain information, through an Internet web site.

Under a revamped fee structure adopted by the Ontario Securities Commission, reporting issuers in Ontario will be required to pay an annual "participation fee", based upon the market capitalization of the reporting issuer, for participating in Ontario's capital markets. The annual participation fee will replace most of the continuous disclosure filing fees currently required to be paid.
