Scott practises as a trial lawyer with a particular emphasis on commercial disputes and defamation law.  He is recognized as one of Canada’s leading practitioners in the area of defamation and media law by the peer-review publication “The Best Lawyers in Canada.” Scott regularly appears before provincial and federal Courts as well as administrative tribunals.

Scott is a Director of the Canadian Media Lawyers Association, a frequent provider of pro bono legal services at community walk-in legal clinics and an occasional youth sports coach.
