Lawyers
Robert Anderson practises as general counsel. He regularly appears in court in cases that involve a wide variety of areas of law including securities, corporate, commercial, media, environmental, constitutional, property assessment, expropriation, criminal, and family matters. Mr Anderson also frequently appears before administrative tribunals and on administrative law matters both in the Provincial Superior Courts and in the Federal Court of Canada. He has both appeared before and/or conducted judicial review proceedings of decisions from a wide spectrum of statutory decision makers. Mr. Anderson has represented various levels of government and other public bodies including the Provincial Government of British Columbia, the Greater Vancouver Regional District, the City of Vancouver, the Municipality of Richmond and the Motor Carrier Commission of British Columbia.
Mr. Anderson has been an adjunct professor at the UBC Law School where he taught Administrative Law; he is an instructor in the Allan McEachern Course on Trial Advocacy at the UBC Law School; he is an editor of Introducing Evidence at Trial: A British Columbia Handbook, a text published by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia; and he has been a lecturer at a variety of courses offered by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.
Mr. Anderson is a member of the Vancouver and Canadian Bar Associations, the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and a past member of the Vancouver Bar Executive.
