Jeff practises primarily in the fields of family law and commercial litigation. He has appeared as counsel in family law cases before the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, and numerous arbitration hearings. His family practice includes all matters relating to custody, access, property division, maintenance, constructive trust claims, and the drafting of marriage agreements, asset protection agreements, and separation agreements. Jeff has acted as a mediator in resolving numerous complex matrimonial disputes.

Jeff represents JTI-Macdonald Inc. and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. in litigation against the Provincial Government of British Columbia, whereby he is defending a claim brought pursuant to the Tobacco Damages and Health Care Costs Recovery Act. Jeff is a member of the Vancouver Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has been a member of the Executive Committee, Family Law Subsection, Canadian Bar Association (B.C.). He has lectured in matters related to family law for the Continuing Legal Education program in British Columbia. Jeff is ranked by Lexpert as a senior specialist in Matrimonial Law, he is ranked among the leading lawyers in Canada by “Best Lawyers” for Family Law, he is listed in The Legal Media Group’s guide to the World’s Leading Product Liability Lawyers, and has been chosen as one of the Who’s Who of Product Liability Defence Lawyers.
