Victor is a member of the firm’s Securities and Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate Commercial practice groups.
Victor is fluent in Mandarin Chinese as well as Japanese. He was born and raised in China; he later lived and studied in Japan before relocating to Canada.
Victor completed his Bachelor’s curriculum (Honours) in Computer Science at Queen’s University; he then operated and managed two start-up software development companies for a number of years before turning to a career in law. Victor was trained in the field of intellectual property law as well as corporate commercial law, first at a national boutique intellectual property law firm, then at a large national firm.
Victor has strong ties to both China and Japan, and possesses insightful appreciation of the business cultures of both countries.
