Tim is a partner in Farris’ litigation group in Vancouver. He practices as general counsel, with extensive experience in commercial law, public and administrative law, inquiries, appeals and judicial reviews. Tim acts for public and private clients – including government bodies, corporations and individuals – before all levels of court in British Columbia and in the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before administrative bodies and commissions of inquiry. Within commercial law, he has litigated such matters as contractual disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent conveyances and trust claims. He has acted on a wide range of constitutional issues, as well as on administrative matters such as the powers of municipalities, expropriations and judicial reviews.
Tim grew up in Vancouver and came to Farris after studying law at the University of Toronto and clerking at the BC Court of Appeal.
