Tim is a litigator in the Vancouver office.  He practices as general counsel, but acts particularly in public and administrative law cases, complex corporate and commercial matters, and appeals. He has acted in a number of appeals before the BC Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. 

In public and administrative law, Tim has acted in cases involving freedom of expression, equality rights, the Human Rights Code, the powers of municipalities, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, the constitutional division of powers and First Nations.  In corporate and commercial law, Tim has represented or advised clients in matters involving fiduciary duties, contractual disputes, construction, intellectual property, negligence and corporate oppression.

Tim came to Farris after studying law at the University of Toronto and clerking at the BC Court of Appeal.
