Susan is both a member of the firm’s litigation and corporate commercial groups with a practice focused primarily on construction and infrastructure matters.  She also maintains a broad research and opinions practice.

Susan seeks to provide practical and strategic solutions for her clients and brings a uniquely broad range of experience to her work. Susan’s role as a solicitor is enhanced by her experience as general litigation counsel spanning a full array of matters ranging from complex commercial to administrative and regulatory disputes. She has assisted clients with matters before all levels of Court in British Columbia as well as in various administrative tribunals. She has also provided advice in the negotiation and implementation of multi-million dollar commercial settlements.

In addition, Susan has an invaluable on-the-ground knowledge of the workings of large scale infrastructure projects having acted for two years as an in-house advisor on British Columbia’s largest to date transportation infrastructure project, the multi-billion dollar Port Mann Highway Improvement Project.

Susan joined the firm as an articled student in 2005 after completing an internship with the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in the Hague. She is actively involved in her community and currently sits as the Chair of the District of North Vancouver’s Parks and Natural Environment Advisory Committee.
