Rebecca’s practice is focused on corporate and commercial litigation matters. She has experience in contractual disputes, bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring matters, shareholder and partnership disputes, estate litigation, trust disputes, intellectual property disputes, and matters involving administrative law and judicial review. She has acted for a variety of corporations (both publicly listed and privately held), individuals and financial institutions.
Rebecca has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court as well as the British Columbia Court of Appeal. She has also represented clients in matters before the High Court of Justice of England and Wales. Having joined Farris in 2006 after working for a litigation firm based in London, England that specialized in commercial litigation matters, she is experienced in mediation and arbitration (including international arbitrations).
Rebecca sits on the Board of Directors of NutritionLink Services Society. She is also actively involved in the Canadian Bar Association and the Women’s Lawyer Forum.
