As a member of Farris’ Kelowna office, Peter practises exclusively as a solicitor. He assists his clients in the areas of corporate and commercial law, real estate development, secured lending, intellectual property, and estate planning. He is a registered trade-mark agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. Peter is an active member of the Kelowna community, currently serving as a director of the Kelowna Visual & Performing Arts Centre Society, a director of the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, and a committee member with the Okanagan chapter of the Urban Development Institute. He is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of the United Way of the Central & South Okanagan/Similkameen, and has served as President of the Kelowna Estate Planning Society, director of the Okanagan Science & Technology Council and director of Project Literacy Kelowna Society. He is a member of the Kelowna and Canadian Bar Associations. Peter complements his legal training with continuing legal education studies such as the Tax Practice Course from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and trade-mark law coursework offered by the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. Peter is fluent in French.
