Nikki began with Farris as a student in 2002. After completing her articles with the firm, she became an Associate in 2004. Nikki is a member of the litigation team, focusing primarily on family law litigation. Her experience includes appearances in the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia, as well as appearances as junior counsel in the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Trained in mediation and collaborative law, Nikki also offers her clients alternatives to litigation through mediation or the collaborative family law process. No matter what forum her clients choose, Nikki’s family practice includes all matters relating to custody, access, child and adult guardianship, adoption, property division, estate and trust issues, child and spousal support, and divorce, including the drafting of co-habitation agreements, marriage agreements, and separation agreements.

Nikki is an active member of the Civil Litigation and Family law subsections of the Canadian Bar Association. She is also a member of the Vancouver Collaborative Family Law Group and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. Nikki is a contributor to CLE family law courses and has co-authored a paper on complex financial issues in family law.
