Dylana practices in the areas of family law, estate litigation and commercial litigation. Dylana joined the Vancouver office as an associate in 2001 and relocated from Vancouver to Kelowna in 2012 to head up the litigation group in the Kelowna office.

Dylana’s family law practice includes all matters affecting families in British Columbia such as separation, divorce, property division, common law trusts, spousal support, child support, guardianship, residency, and parenting time. Dylana’s experience includes drafting complex cohabitation, marriage, and separation agreements, and she provides services from either a litigation approach or collaboration depending on the individual needs of her clients.

In her estate litigation practice, Dylana represents her clients in a wide variety of cases including, wills variation cases, capacity matters, disputes between executors and beneficiaries and when required, the appointment of committees.

Dylana’s corporate/commercial litigation experience has encompassed contract disputes, shareholder disputes (including oppression claims), intellectual property disputes, debt collection and real estate litigation. Dylana also has extensive experience in matters related to insurance, product liability, class actions and advising on and litigating employment related disputes.

Dylana is experienced in arbitration, mediation and has appeared as counsel at both the trial and appellate levels of the British Columbia court. She has also appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Dylana is actively involved in both the legal and volunteer community. Dylana sits on the Board of Directors of the Kelowna Art Gallery and she serves on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association’s Okanagan Civil Litigation Section.
